First, you must be strong and can handle the cold in winter. Summer is best time to find work, because here in Maine, where the season is the busiest. Go ask in the dock, fishermen and help. Pay is not great but you learn the trade.

The largest port of Maine lobster in Deer Isle Stonington. It's got a delicate matter, if you do not know who owns a boat. I would recommend, with free on the first ride to work. In this way they can see you're a hard worker, and I really want to learn the trade. Good luck.

You can check the classifieds for crew members wanted the site for the national fisheries (resources for commercial fishermen) ... http://www.nationalfisherman.com/home.as

Good luck!

I want to go to the docks just one days in Gloucester, MA, or even in Beverly, Massachusetts. Find any type of activity or by Hummer on the agenda and ask if they need someone. Take your license and a second form of identification to show he is serious, if you want to rent!

Some are so informal second form of identification required
